The poems in this section were all writeen around the time that I spent in a psychiatric hospital called Charter. Up to this time of my life, I had written stories galore, but had never bothered with poetry unless it was an assignment for school. The poems here are obvious as "first" poems, so are shaky in rhyme and meter. I still don't know why I even started to write them, what prompted it. Except that I wasn't allowed to do any of my usual things in which I released the pain I felt inside. With no other outlet, I turned to the poems to try and keep myself sane. Some of these poems are on the dark side, but I don't think any of them are quite as dark as the poems in the other section. Still, take care as you look through these pages.
